‘LPBW’ Star Matt Roloff Sets The Tone For Thanksgiving With Family Cruise

Matt Roloff is kicking off Thanksgiving early with his family, and what better way than a boat cruise around the city?

It’s that time of the year again, and fans of the TLC reality show “Little People Big World” are undoubtedly eager to see how their favorite TV stars are spending feast. The Roloff family Patriarch has taken the lead and given his fans a glimpse of how it is going down.

The television personality who got down on one knee to a resounding yes from his long-time lover, Caryn Chandler, earlier this year also told his fans what to expect on the new season of the TV show premiering soon on TLC.

Matt Roloff Spends Quality Time With His Family On A Pre-Thanksgiving Cruise

The reality TV star gears up for the festive season and takes time out with his family for a lovely cruise before Thanksgiving celebrations kick in. Matt shared a picture from the fun trip, which featured him, his mother, and his fiancée’s mom and captioned it:

“Enjoying a pre-Thanksgiving cruise with my mother, Caryn, and her parents, Fun Fun…. #lovelove to all.”

He appeared radiant in the picture as fans trooped to the comments of the lovely portraits to pour their compliments. One fan wrote, “Looks amazing enjoy every minute sailing the ocean seas!!! @mattroloff Happy Thanksgiving 🦃,” as another commented: “Awesomeness  💕.”

“Enjoy yourselfs. Happy thanksgiving ya’ll,” added another fan while a curious user asked where the star was headed on the cruise.

The cruise seems to be Matt and Caryn’s first as an engaged couple after he popped the question in April, seven years after his divorce from ex-wife Amy Roloff was finalized. A happy Matt disclosed to TLC:

“After six wonderful years together, I asked Caryn to marry me, and she said yes! Our plan is to enjoy our engagement and we are looking forward to a simple but elegant wedding in 2024.”

The Blast noted that the reality star and his former employee began their romance in 2017 with Matt moving in with her four years later. Matt and Caryn disclosed their relationship status on the 17th season of “Little People, Big World” as the entrepreneur shared that:

“Caryn’s been the farm manager on Roloff Farms for a number of years, and we have a great working relationship. And we are officially dating.”

The 62-year-old continued that the decision to date Caryn comes after he has done a lot of soul searching and she offered great companionship, which he lacked in his first marriage to Amy.

As for Amy, she moved on with Chris Marek, a real estate agent, after meeting at a single’s sip and paint night. Amy and Marek got engaged in 2019 and married in an intimate ceremony held at Roloff Farms in 2021.

Speaking of the farm, Jeremy and Zach, the twin sons Matt shared with Amy, accused Caryn of influencing their dad’s refusal to sell part of his farm to them.

This decision caused them to be estranged, as revealed by Zach and his wife Tori on the season 23 premiere of the show.

The Motivational Speaker Spilled Details On Season 25 Of ‘LPBW’

The drama between Matt and his sons has affected the show in a major way as the author disclosed to the fans that his sons will not be appearing on the 25th season of “LPBW.”

The news is in line with his son’s decision to quit the show and also Zach’s health challenge following an emergency brain surgery in February. Matt confirmed they wrapped up shooting for the new season in August, and it will cover Zach’s ongoing recovery and other health issues related to dwarfism.

Well, Zach is not the only one with health challenges as Matt went through a “rough time” in May and posted a picture of him on a hospital bed to that effect. The father-of-four wrote in the caption:

“went in for what I thought was routine upper endoscopy to check out my esophagus … When things don’t go as planned and the Doc tells Caryn ‘we had some complications’ turns out i have some unexpected twists n turns leading down to the stomac[h].”

After his sons failed to purchase his farm, the serial businessman turned it into a short-term rental. He uploaded a picture of himself standing in front of the building, explaining the process of renting it in the caption:

“If any families out there want a front row seat and VIP access to the @rolofffarms Pumpkin Patch. (literally watch all the fun from your front porch). We have the last weekend available to stay at the big house. Best suited for Large family groups and reunions. Hope to see you on the wagon trail. link to itrip in bio.”
