Adele and Rich Paul have been photographed for the first time since the singer announced they might be married, rocking a massive diamond ring.
The “Rolling in the Deep” hitmaker seemingly revealed the news during Alan Carr’s comedy gig in Los Angeles, shouting, “I did!” in response to a question about recent marriages. Following the shocking revelation, Adele was spotted at a basketball game sporting a new piece of hardware.
Adele & Rich Paul Are The Poster Kids For Happiness
Sitting courtside at the Crypto.com arena, Adele and Rich watched the LA Lakers play against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, with the lovebirds looking delighted to be in each other’s company.
For their first public sighting since breaking the wedding news, the Grammy Award winner sported a cream-knitted sweater, green cargo pants, gold earrings, and multiple matching necklaces.
The 12-time Brit Awards recipient looked extra gorgeous with her hair slicked back and showing off her glam makeup. She beamed as she snuggled up to her man, who looked dapper in a black baseball cap, matching faded jeans, a zip-up jacket, and white sneakers.
The couple, who got engaged earlier this year after almost two years of dating, were in fits of laughter during the game. Despite her big unexpected announcement, Adele made several attempts to hide the enormous sparkler on her wedding finger under her cozy sweater.
Every time the camera panned on the 35-year-old superstar, she was smiling as she cheered on the players in front of a packed-out crowd. The “Chasing Pavements” performer sent fans into a frenzy earlier this week when she rocked up at the intimate Dynasty Typewriter theatre to support Alan, who was making his standup debut in America.
But, if you take a close look…you can see a monster diamond ring on THAT finger!
Adele, who was rumored to have walked down the aisle with Rich in 2022, is said to have confirmed the union during the comedy show, with two audience members confirming the news to Deuxmoi.
As reported by The Blast, one eyewitness shared, “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight, and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently, and Adele shouted ‘I did.’” A second audience member further detailed that when Alan “asked if anyone got married recently,” the mother of one “yelled ‘I did,’” adding:
“Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended. Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks. She didn’t care if people knew she was there. She was heckling him – they’re best friends.”
Adele had recently drawn attention to her marital status when she playfully turned down a fan’s proposal during her Vegas residency in September. A bold concertgoer is heard shouting, “Will you marry me?” in a viral TikTok video at the time.
Responding to the request, the pop sensation said, “You can’t marry me. I’m straight, my love, and my husband’s here tonight.”
Although the audience member persisted by asking her to “try,” the BRIT School graduate made it clear she was happily committed to the Cleveland native, expressing, “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy; leave me alone.”
Insider Previously Asserted That The Doting Duo Signed A Prenup Before Their Nuptials
Despite her apparent commitment to Rich, The Blast noted that she was intent on taking precautions for their future. Per the article, the LGBT advocate reportedly had her alleged husband sign a prenuptial agreement, a step she did not take with her first husband Simon Konecki.
As it turned out, it was her clique of concerned friends that reportedly convinced her to protect her $220 million fortune, considering the financial impact of her previous divorce.
On the matter, one source indicated that the issue of having to sign a prenup allegedly caused “some friction” between Adele and the Klutch Sports Group co-founder. Luckily, the problem appears to have been sorted out by the lovers.
To that end, the informant who is supposedly close to the situation continued, “She believes in love, and she says talking about anything to do with money is a sure-fire romance killer. She was right. A prenup’s signed, and Adele and Rich put it behind them… hopefully.”
